As an iPhone user, I'm quite aware that they're different critters. The point was, I don't need an iPad with a $30 add-on to display the images from my camera. As for the movie feature on an iPad, I quit watching movies on screens that size in 1949.

they are different critters; among other things, unlike your cheapito, the iPad has a very nice IPS display and it can play movies for 12 hours on one battery charge
