Hi Leon, IIRC, the instruction booklet for my bellows advises against anything faster than f1.7, though it doesn't give a reason. A cheap A 50/2 works just fine on mine, but I haven't added a teleconverter to it so I couldn't guess whether it would be bright enough to focus.
