I have to say I'm more than a little envious! I managed to get a shot of a bald eagle perched in a tree on July 4th, but I wasn't able to get anywhere near this close! Luckily, the big bird perches there every evening, and the location is within ten miles of home, so I have the luxury of going back for more opportunities.
