Excellent under the circumstances.  Would it be worth doing some more
cropping? Perhaps turn it into a horizontal crop and lose most of the
dead tree.

Funny, that - I took it in a portrait orientation so it never occurred to me to 
crop it otherwise.

I like Brian's crop, too.... You nailed the eagle so well, and obviously just took off from that branch but in the best of all possible workds it would be nice to see the tree over the to the right more and the bird against the blue sky... but I'm not a fan of tha much
photoshop fiddling either :)
