My highest res screen is currently 109PPI and individual pixels are
clearly discernible but I have to get up a bit closer than normal, in
the past I've had Cornerstone 19" CRT monitors (150PPI) on special
cards running 2048 pixels in the horizontal but I don't think that
they were really anywhere near as sharp as todays TFT screens.
