hmmm ... i tend to ignore _some_ threads after a first look, but will
come back to see what all the fuss is about if that thread keeps getting
pushed to the bottom (where i "rightly" sort my newest email) after a
couple of days; so in that respect, even though threads here tend to
wander, i still find the threaded view quite efficient
