I personally am not interested in video, but I rather doubt that it
would save money to leave the feature out.  The sensor is likely to
have the capability just because there are a lot of people who *do*
want the feature, and sensors are shared across many camera models.

The other big requirements of video (a fast data path and processor)
help to provide me with a feature I do value - a higher frame rate.
