Nearly all digital camera sensors *other* than DSLR-sized sensors (1.5x, 1.3x, 1x crop) that use the 2:3 (1:1.5) proportions of 35mm Film use a 3:4 proportion sensor. FourThirds (FourThirds SLR and Micro-FourThirds) are the notable exceptions in the larger sensor size cameras. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
