Bonjour D. Schneller
http://www3.sympatico.ca/dschneller/manuals/PentaxSpot321.html
http://krg.pagesperso-orange.fr/collection/cellules.htm#spm
What I find actually amusing about this is that Michel then puts a big
banner at the top of his page... stating in loud bright red letters that
his page has been translated into English on another page "WITHOUT MY
PERMISSION" - and then includes a LINK to said page.
Maybe it's not polite to make fun, but it struck me as odd behavior.

Perhaps, but I suppose Michel's aim is to out this guy as a plagiarist.
No doubt the English translation is useful, but for Dave Schneller to
simply publish it without any sort of acknowledgment is inexcusable.
I've had a similar experience with a (non photographic) web site I
manage and the guilty party apologized and took down the copied pages.
I hope Michel posts the outcome in this case.
True but stuff like this is going to happen, it's not like anyone is
going to be kicked off the internet for copying a non commercial page.
I have a certain interest in the Vivitar Series One 70-210, and every
once in a while I'll do a Google search on it. You'd be amazed how many
discussions and web pages simply lifted text directly from Mark Robert's
page on the subject. Just cut and paste which in the context of the new
page and or discussion is awkward and strange, while in the original
context on Mark's page it makes perfect sense. At least this guy added
some value, and did a better translation than most,
That's not to defend him, but at least it's quality theft.
Cheers
Brian
