You can move your photo files, or folders around. You can do it under Finder or from within LR itself. If you do it under Finder, LR will lose track of them, but it is a simple process to have LR re-link to the files.
Worst thing that can happen, if you and/or LR become horribly confused, is that you may decide to delete the LR Catalog and then reimport your images from their new locations. Play around, try stuff out now before you accumulate so many image files that my suggestion becomes impractical because of the time you've invested in ratings, keywording, etc. stan On Oct 4, 2010, at 6:35 PM, Eric Weir wrote: > > On Oct 4, 2010, at 7:22 PM, Eric Weir wrote: > >> Still not clear whether I can move image files into new files . . . . > > Probably obvious, but that shoulda been "into new folders. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Eric Weir > Decatur, GA USA > [email protected] > > > > > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
