In the mid 80s (way, way back) I was doing some retail work.
My principle for selling cameras was to first have the person
hold the cameras and pick the one that felt most comfortable.
Strange as it may sound, people seemed to gravitate towards a
camera with a good feel and a simple UI -- the A3000.

My principle was (and still is):  They all take equivalent pictures.
It is you who must be happy with the camera.
It does not matter whether or not the salesman is happy with it.
It's all about fit.

(I buy cars the same way -- driver's seat fit.  My two favorites:
1991 Toyota Camry and 1997 E class (W210).  Perfect seats.)
