I have a Mal and a cat and there is absolutely no comparison between the two. The mal while being a great example of a dog is basically a belly on 4 legs, it would eat anything if I let it. The cat on the other hand will only eat selected items and barely tolerates the Mal. I love em both but the Mal definitely comes off as dumb, but extremely owner loyal, when compared to the cat who remains somewhat aloof.
