We've got a relatively new set up - Denon Amp and Polk speakers - and the first bit of advice is that you absolutely need a centre speaker. We haven't bothered with rear speakers but without the centre speaker you lose a lot of dialogue. The same setup is used for audio and the sound quality is fine but the remote control is poorly set up. To choose the CD input I have to flip the remote over, open up a panel on the back and press a button there. They are probably buying the remotes in bulk and then configuring the buttons rather than getting a remote specially made to suit the unit. Apart from that I am happy with the amp and speakers.
