If you are looking for something wider than the kit lens (18mm) then I don't know how a 16mm even qualifies. I have the Sigma 10-20mm f4.5-5.6 and love it.
Shots with the 10-20mm (both models): http://www.flickr.com/groups/sigma10-20/ A few more here: http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/84539-sigma-10-20mm-club.html Discussion about deciding between the two models: http://www.flickr.com/groups/sigma10-20/discuss/72157625417016048/ I think it is interesting that owner reviews of the f4-5.6 are 4-1/2 stars (Amazon) while the f3.5 version are only 4 stars. Maximum aperture isn't everything (by a long shot). Another lens to consider might be the Tamron SP 10-24mm. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
