I'm starting to research a trip to Italy to drive (one of) the course(s) of the Mille Miglia. I'd have to hit the lottery to afford a car that would be eligible and the attendant costs to enter and run the event. But I can go and rent a car for a week and drive (most of) the same roads on different dates. :-)
