I've visited the Isle of Man whenever I could since 1998. Paul and his family have been gracious hosts and willing accomplices to my fascination with the Isle. (I *must* get back there again in 2011! :-)
I usually prefer to go for the Manx GP time ... around end of summer into the beginning of September, but I've been there for the TT races in June as well as in October time. I'm far from done ... the above is only a smattering of the photos I've made already! >From a photography point of view, if you like doing landscapes and such, June is a bit difficult as the northerly location means getting the sweet light from dawn through sunrise is an up and out by 4:30am or so, and the evening light can be well past 9 pm. At TT time the Isle is extremely crowded with tourists, great for people and motorcycle shots, not so good if you want to photograph the Isle itself. But it's all good!
