It will save you hours of spotting dust or scratches. Just don't try it with silver halide films. The ICE process will take an eternity and you'll end up with clumped garbage as a scan. If you are interested in B&W, use the Kodak BW400 or Ilford XP2. If you want grain, you'll have to add it in PS.
