HI Collin,

I use an old Minolta macro focusing rail with a slide copy attachment
on it and a DA 50 Macro. I stick an AF360FGZ flash behind pointing
right at the diffusion plate of the slide copier for lighting and use
my K10D in Av mode which allows me to control the flash using the
compensation dial. I shoot RAW to give me more control over the image
because it does increase the contrast slightly which is a problem on
slides that are already contrasty.

This set up also lets me zoom in on part of the slide and even adjust
the level slightly. The down side is manually renaming the files as
they are imported to match the slide number so I don't have duplicate
entries in my database (but I need to do this with any system I use
anyway).

I'm happy with the results.

Leon
