The K-5 looks like it might be the camera that I've been waiting for for three
years.

I'm seriously considering an act of extreme fiscal irresponsibility in the next
week, but need to do some due diligence first. I know that buying one now is a
mistake, but is it a good mistake or a bad mistake? Is there anyone one this
list with one that is having serious second thoughts about it? My initial
reaction to the K20 was that it was an improvement in almost every way over my
K100, though it took a while for me to make use of any performance improvements
and actually get better quality photos than with my K100. With my K-x, on the
other hand, where the performance was improved, the differences were
immediately obvious. Though I 'm still not convinced that it's better than the
K20 below ISO 640.

I do a lot of photography above ISO 1600. How does the K-5 compare with the
K-x? I.e. does 25,600 look about like 6400?

How do the low ISOs compare with either the K20 or the K-x? For that matter,
how does any of the performance compare with these cameras?
