I love the K5. No regrets whatsoever. Can't say for sure how it compares to the 
Kx at high ISO, but, based on other people's pics, the K5 seems to be similar 
in regard to noise levels, perhaps half a stop better. It's noticeably better 
throughout the range than any of the Pentax DSLRs I've owned (*istD, k10, k20, 
and k7).
