I don't have any SDM lenses so I can't try that, but I thought the
consensus was that this didn't actually work. I'll bow to your superior
geekdom if it does however.

To circulvent that, one should short the digital info pin presented on
the from Kmp:
http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/technology/K-mount/Kaf.html
This pin came with KAF mount but is still there.
Shorting it will get you screwdrive AF, but will prevent any digital
info which means focal length, MTF, lens ID etc.
Annoying, but you can get AF back if needed. Better than nothing.
60-250 really does miss an aperture ring.
