you cant do open aperture metering with k/m lenses except the rare case of shooting only wide open on aperture priority mode.

I think I'm getting it now, and I think what I've been doing is "stopped down" metering. My camera's always set on M, I set the aperture, then punch the AE-L button to set shutter speed. A little shaky, still, on how I would do "open aperture." Would I have to be in Av mode to do that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Eric Weir Decatur, GA USA [email protected] -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
