strangely enough, it isn't. I've seen 2 or 3 partial eclipses from the UK,
and one total eclipse (1999). None of my pictures is as good as Toine's
though. I have a book somewhere about photographing eclipses which gives a
table of when they're visible from different parts of the world. A handy
thing to carry around in case you're captured by cannibals and need to
impress them with your awesome magic powers.
