Back to the actual topic... I seem to have reached a near-Godfrey-like satori with regards to my photo gear. There may be a K-5 in my future, but mainly because I'd live to have something smaller than the K20D for bicycle travel. (I'm still only working part-time and the adjunct faculty gig doesn't pay for shit, so perilous finances are a definite factor).
But I *did* just order something cool - that Pentax-lens-to-Sony-body adapter that Cotty pointed out a while back. It seems that the optical element can be removed, turning it into a combination adaptor and extension tube; Perfect for use with my Sigma 180/3.5, since manual focus and stop-down metering are relatively easy to cope with for macro shooting.
