Actually the Spotmatic F was released at the same time as the ESII and the Spotmatic 1000, (pretty much a SPII without a self timer), was released then as well. The SP-F and SP1000 remained in production for about a year after the ESII was discontinued. If you really want to stretch the point, and why not after all, the KM was a Spotmatic F with a K lens mount.
