When I was working on a project in Austin TX, on the Corner of 4rh and
Brazos, there was a tree. Not a large tree. Maybe 7 feet tall. In it
was the largest concentration of Grackles that I have ever seen in my
life. After dark the street light kept them semi awake and you could
hear them a couple of blocks away. It was astounding.

My God! I didn't look at the image before responding perviously. I've never
seen so many Crows in one location. I remember when I was a kid, they were
hunted. Hunters would put up decoys and use calls, and hundreds would get
killed. But I've never seen or heard of this many at a roost.
