Actually, I just sold mine. I agree that longer is better, but it
depends a lot on what you're shooting. If the choice is limited to 35
or 50, I'd say the 50 is a bit more all-round kind of lens, and more
convenient for its slightly larger working distance at 1:1.

There are lots of manual focus lenses on the second-hand market, and
many of them are good. One nit to consider, however, is that P-TTL
flash doesn't work with a pre-AF lens on the K-series cameras,
including K-100.
