those both have good reputations, but note the Eric asked at the top for
freeware only; Carbon Copy Cloner is one of the most solid freeware
programs i use and it has steadily improved in both features and
user-friendliness; i've had good support for it when i needed it a
couple of times (over close to a decade), and i've made a small donation
to Mike Bombich, the creator
