So, I went with those. I don't know if they'll be quite as good as the
Sanyos, but how bad can they be for the price? It'll be nice to have
another set, in any event.

those load at $9.99 for me -- no knowledge of the brand, but consider Sanyo
Eneloops, or equivalent low self-discharge batteries -- they are more
expensive than generic NiMH, but worth it for not having to wonder if how
much charge they'll hold for a few days
