Boris,
I use #3 and I am happy with it.
I bought it after 17-70mm (Sigma) and 24-60mm (Sigma) as a fixed
aperture standard lens with a useful wide end.
However, I increasingly find myself leaning towards primes. So, it
sees less use than I envisioned. I am even thinking of selling my
10-20mm (sigma) for the DA 15mm ltd.

I use SR of the body. (The stabilized lens does not seem to make me happy).
AF speed is fine and noiseless.
