It was received 11/14/2008, along with the rest of the DA* lenses and
non-DA*'s as well. No joy there. My newest lens is the 60-250, purchased July
2009. When I need to use the 50-135, I just exercise it for a few minutes prior
to shooting. Sometimes have to do the same at times when I'm shooting. It's a
pain. But having to buy a used car after 15 years of not making any car
payments will keep me on the edge for four years. I'll have to sell many of my
non-DA lenses over the next few months to stay afloat. And all my camera bodies
other than the K10 and K-7 must go. Not using them, no reason to keep them.
