I have no first-hand knowledge of this lens, but just looking at the Customer Reviews at Amazon it is obvious that there are SEVERE QC issues with this lens. I don't believe I've ever seen a lens with a higher percentage of bad scores. Personally, I wouldn't buy this lens from anywhere that I couldn't return it (if I got a bad copy) and I would probably always wonder if it was going to continue to be a good copy or develop problems down the road. It seems like a dangerous lens to purchase used.
