Are both computers on your network? Might be easier to just transfer them across your network - a little slower, probably, but less muddling around in the innards or the computer. One of the Mac gurus should be able to guide you through mapping the drive in your PC to the Mac. At that point it's just copy and paste.

Hi gang.

Is it possible for me to remove the old hard drive from my 2001 PC,
and be able to read it on the iMac. I have a few files i see that were
not backed up. No biggy, i can just rescan the photos, (these will be
inserted in the memoir book), but i already have them scanned, in TIF,
and with my new found editing skills, would just have to re edit them
instead of rescan and edit.

Please keep in mind, if any one has an answer, that i have 10 thumbs
and my motto is close enough, not do it right.:-)
