Jens, You just need firmware 1.03. It is cumulative - also has 1.01 and 1.02 included. I don't remember the specifics, but I don't believe you can tether the K5 to a laptop. There was some recent discussion (last 3-4 months) on this - before I bought mine, so I paid scant attention. The archives may cough it up if you search.
