not all that bad, actually (the scanning)
I LOVE that first one! and the ones from France in 1980...
they don't look dusty to me... I'd have to blow them up by a factor of
ten to see dust on them.
(which is what I do when I spot mine in Elements )

I've just scanned a few Kodachromes, and will send one to the gallery. Here
are some that I'm not going to submit. They include some of the earliest
Kodachromes I ever shot, and thanks to the atrocious conditions in which
I've kept them, they are obviously starting to deteriorate. I haven't
cleaned or dust-removed any of them. These are the first scans I've done for
years, and it shows.

The early ones are shot with my MX and 50/1.7 or some no-name zoom I had.
The later ones were with an LX and good Pentax lenses.

I plan to find a DSLR image with a lot of reds and hit it with a
Kodachrome 25 action. It doesn't really look that much like Kodachrome
to me, but I can't find my slides, and haven't got my film scanner set
up, ... "I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough
money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old
friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an
earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO
GOD! "

G'day all
Just a reminder the that PUG theme for April is 'Memories of
Kodachrome'. So far just 2 submissions plus 2 for the Open Gallery.
So soon we forget....
You can, of course, interpret the theme as loosely as you think you
can
get away with. And there's always the Open Gallery.
