Tim, The question is: What sort of person is Ole Dan?
Is he a sober and reflective sort? Then #1 might be best. Is he relaxed and casual? Then #2. Is he given to melancholy? Then perhaps #3. #4 is the most complex of the four poses; the pose indicates engagement (a conversation with someone out of the frame), but yet is casual, as are the clothes. If he's a joker and "party animal", you've missed. The best portraits reflect the personality of the subject. Do you have it here?
