This is the bible as I read as a child, though I later decided until
I get a note from God, in his own handwriting, confirming his
existence, I would leave religion to the religious flocks.

I skimmed through the newer "readable" modern english bible when they
came out, and found them very unsettling. Sorta like having listening
to the Who performing gregorian chants.


I find quoting chapter and verse most effective when playing "stump the fanatic". Sounds like this one should provide good ammunition.

What I found most interesting though is prices for the used copies start at twice the price for new ones.
