(1) have now found out that the adapter that is already on this lens is for Minolta (M-MD)
Jeff, I did plan to take the M-MD off and replace it if I kept the lens :) Actually, I plan to take it to B&H and ask if they will trade for the K mount or consider the M-MD a trade-in or something.
