A bit more information... I was using the Pentax m42 adapter and my S-M-C 50mm Macro f4 (which I use a lot) in M mode when it started acting up. Noticed that the battery power was showing half-full (which, with Eneloops, seems to mean "just about out"). So put in a freshly charged set of Eneloops. Same problems. Switched back on the kit lens and switched to P mode. Same problems. Intermittently OK shots with a bunch of not OK shots. Cleaned the contacts on the kit lens and camera with a pencil eraser. Tried a couple. One worked the other didn't.
Put on a near mint Pentax-A 70-210mm and it is working fine (so far) including Live View shots in AV mode. The sometimes works/sometimes not makes me think some kind of electrical contact is wonky somewhere. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
