I would agree with you, Paul, but that is not the context of the
discussion (in the PF thread). It is not simply a display of a
photographer's imagery. It is done in the context where it is implied
that "This is what the 645D can produce for you (that a lesser camera
cannot)." If the 645D is only a part of the story in that production,
then it is a bit misleading.

You may get the impression that the 645D has a dynamic range greater
than what it has, if you are judging it on the basis of HDR images
that are not labeled as such, on the web. I would love to see the same
scene shot at the same ISO with the 645D and the K-5 and processed
with exactly the same workflow, to be able to see the differences
between the two images. I suspect that, like the film cameras of old,
you don't really see a big advantage for the 645D  until you make a
print of a certain size, when the 645D's 40MP images shine over a
lesser MP image.
