I learned long ago: never skimp on a strap, no matter what kind you
prefer. Get the best you can find. Your expensive equipment is hanging
on it.
Sun-Sniper and Black Rapid R-Strap were pretty much equal for me. I
actually preferred the feel of the R-Strap slightly more, but the
Sun-Sniper has an embedded steel wire to prevent someone behind you from
cutting your strap to steal your camera.
Knowing I would be traveling where that might be a problem, it gave the
Sun-Sniper a slight edge.
