I do not agree with the idea of that small sensor and slow lenses.
Yes, it can be used, but it's a trade-off that doesn't seem to be
stipulated by the size of the camera (as it usually happens in the
ultra-compact P&S cameras).
What's the point over traditional P&S format?
Just to show off that you have changeable lenses?
I guess, I am not a Japanese (in the sense described in the blog).
I am just not sure what this camera offers over, say Canon S95 (S90),
that I've been considering after seeing the high quality of the photos
Rob gets with it.
That camera has a small size, large aperture for the zoom lens, good
high-ISO performance, and pretty much the rest of the functionality
that the new Q-camera has, except for the interchangeable lenses.
But S-95 is also more compact, and fits easily in a small pocket.

PS. Marketing statements like "The world's smallest and lightest
digital interchangeable lens system camera, as of June 15, 2011"
initiate two reactions (in me):
1. My K-7 is the best of all the digital Pentax SLRs typically
located in my house.
2. The old parody slogan like: "Our microchips are largest in the world".
