I went over to Ned's blog to see if he had anything to say about the acquisition. Until a couple of hours ago he didn't but he had posted a bunch of photos taken with the DA35 macro. The bastard. That lens has been on my wishlist for a couple of years now, ever since I started going on photo walks with my DA40 and wished I could focus it closer. I'm not so fond of the pictures of his dog's nose, but the photo of a 50 year old bottle of cognac certainly shows what the lens can do.
