I sort of disagree... whenever I remove my card to put it in the computer, I leave the door open, as a visual reminder that there's no card in the camera. At least on the K10D, the open door is right where my hand would go to pick it up, so it's quite obvious. It keeps me from grabbing the camera and taking it somewhere without a card.
