Thanks for the comments. I was really kind of disappointed with the photographic output from this trip. Steve Desjardins mentioned how sunny it was, but that's an illusion created by very selective shooting: It was gray and fairly bleak for most of the time. Picking the one patch of blue sky for a background was the best shooting option in many cases. Travel photography is frustratingly difficult because you don't get to keep returning to a spot to get the right weather and light.
