You are more likely to have your CC abused by somebody picking up a paper receipt that you, or the store has disposed of from the garbage. Sad but true! It does seem that some stores are not printing the full card number expiry etc on the receipt any more, but many still do. How many people think to properly destroy their copy when they are done with it (a few), and how many stores do the same (I'd guess none!)
