Thanks, Bob!
I was actually a little distracted by those highlights myself. I'm
pretty ham-fisted when it comes to tweaking specific areas of images,
unfortunately. In fact, I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to most of
the functions of Photoshop and other similar software. Here's my
attempt at toning down those highlights:

I think the idea is much better than my execution would suggest.
Thanks for the input, in any event. I'll keep tweaking it until I get a
better blending of the colors.

Walt,
Very pretty.
If your inclined to photoshop,
you might tone down the brightness of the highlights above left of the blossom.

Hi all,
I grabbed this shot this evening while I was walking around in the front
yard this evening. All but about a dozen or so blossoms are gone on this
tree, and I just happened to catch this one out of the corner of my eye from
a pretty good distance -- say, 25 feet give or take. And it looked like a
good bokeh opportunity.
Again, I had the K-50/1.4 on the K-x:

ISO 560, 1/500 sec, f/3.5, Manual
Any input appreciated. So do as you will.
Best,
Walt
