After I wrote and sent my comment, I remember doing the same thing when it
comes to spotting things that normally are not obvious. Especially after I
have gotten back into taking captures. It also helps that while out on my
nature walks I am always trying to keep an eye out and trained on areas of
the woods that are different colors or shadows that are moving about and the
different sounds around me.

If it hadn't been illuminated the way it was against a fairly bland
background, I'd have never seen it.  I mean, the sun was hitting it
