Well, one of the requirements for a photographer is to have an eye for the
subject/composition and your Mimosa image certainly shows you have that.

Obviously the secret here is to be aware of those types of distractions
with the image still in the view finder,
like you're shooting slide film, negates the need for post processing
manipulations
Ken,
That would require a real photographer, and I'm just not ready for that
level of commitment just yet.

Thanks, Ken.
If I ever figure out how to fix it without ruining it, I'll post the
results.

Would be a wonderful capture if it wasn't for the bright white spot in

Hi all,
I grabbed this shot this evening while I was walking around in the
front yard this evening. All but about a dozen or so blossoms are
gone on this tree, and I just happened to catch this one out of the
corner of my eye from a pretty good distance -- say, 25 feet give or
take. And it looked like a good bokeh opportunity.
Again, I had the K-50/1.4 on the K-x:

Any input appreciated. So do as you will.
You're making up for time spent not taking pictures, another keeper.
Best,
Walt
