Thanks, Cotty, and thanks to everyone else who looked, enjoyed and commmented. As I said, I've been waiting over a year for this one. ;-) They seem to love thistle down and I remember last summer they feasted on it and then all of a sudden in either late August or early September, they were gone! I guess they flew south but there was no warning that they were leaving - I just showed up one weekend day and there was not a trace of the little guys. There were lots of them feasting this past weekend so I guess they're fattening up for the journey. They'll likely be gone soon, for another year.
